OPSH, takes over criminal hideouts after neutralizing 6 bandits in Jos

The Troops of the Special Task Force deployed to ensure peace in Plateau, Bauchi and Part of Kaduna State are to continue dominating all suspected criminal hideouts in Plateau State and deny them freedom.

The Commander Operation safe Haven, Major General Ibrahim Ali, gave the assurance in Jos, the Plateau State Capital over the continues security challenges in the State

The assurance is coming after another milestone recorded by the Troops during a joint operation which led to the killing of six syndicate criminals who are specialized in kidnapping innocent citizens in Mangu Local Government area of Plateau State after they were trailed by the troops.

In a statement signed by the Spokesperson of the OPSH Major Ishaku Takwa, the OPSH Commander further directed the troops to also sustain the tempo in wiping out Criminal elements in Plateau and other part within their area of operation.

Recalled, that the troops of the OPSH on Monday in a joint Operation after responding to a distress call from the IRT that bandits had hijacked the team and took away their weapons swiftly trailed and neutralized six of the bandits and recovered the weapons while the IRT Commander and a Member of the vigilante group lost their lives during a gun duel.
