Organizers of the maiden edition of the Under 17 Niger Delta Peace Cup have announced the postponement of the tournament from Monday 15th to Friday 19th March, 2021.
The organisers, Grassroots Sports Federation (GRASOF) South – South zone, in conjunction with Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Say the need to ensure a perfect arrangement necessitated the move.
They say they regret all inconveniences the postponement may have cause the teeming fans.

The tournament which is tagged: “Developing Niger Delta Youths Through Sports”, will be competed by nine states of the Niger Delta region.
According to the tournament spokesman, Emmanuel Akpan, besides talents discovery, the U-17 NDDC Cup will gainfully engage the restive Niger Delta youths towards giving them a reasonable direction in living.
