Residents of Peace Avenue at Orozo in Abuja Municipal Area Council are appealing to the Area Council Authorities and the FCT Minister, Mohammed Bello to save the community from the agony of abandonment.
The people who spoke with ait.live say the absence of government presence in form of infrastructure and social amenities have made life and living in the community difficult.
Orozo is along the Nyanya- Karshi expressway accommodating over five thousand residents of different tribes and religion.
The community hosts the Government Science Secondary School and the Federal Government Treasury Academy located along the expressway.
Despite the presence of these government institutions, the road connecting them to the expressway has become impassable.
Another challenge facing the community is electricity supply as the Transformer acquired through community efforts seven years ago, is yet to be installed by the management of the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company

The Head Cooperate Affairs and Public Communication of the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company Olabode Fadipe in a telephone interview says one Transformer is not enough to draw the attention of the company to the community.
Lack of potable water, market, Health facilities and other infrastructure are some of the challenges residents of Orozo Community have to grapple with.
They are calling on relevant authorities to come to their rescue to alleviate their suffering
