Osinbajo commissions flyover bridge in Ebonyi Governor’s hometown

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, has inaugurated the flyover bridge at Onuofukuru Uburu, in Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, South-East Nigeria as part of activities to conclude his two-day working visit.

Osinbajo says the infrastructural road projects executed by Governor David Umahi are evident that Ebonyi State will never remain the same again.

The inauguration of the 19-span flyover bridge in Uburu, the hometown of Governor Umahi, marks the climax of activities of the Vice President’s two! – day working visit to Ebonyi State.

Earlier, Vice President Osinbajo inaugurated the dualised 12-kilometre Okposi-Uburu Road constructed with rigid pavement technology.

Governor Umahi told the Vice President that the road is one of the critical access roads linking Ebonyi State to Cross River and Enugu States.

Osinbajo also inspected the level of work done at the King David University of Medical Sciences, as well as the industrial cluster both in Uburu, Ohaozoara Local Government Area.

At a dinner party organised in honour of the visiting Vice President at the Christian Ecumenical Centre, Abakaliki, Osinbajo applauded the State Government under the leadership of Governor Umahi for embarking on projects he said have the capacity to transform the lives of the people of the State.

For residents of Ebonyi State, it is their hope that the coming of the number two citizen of the country will attract more developmental projects if the Federal Government to their State.
