Nigeria’s vice President, Professor Yemi Osibanjo says the provision of adequate welfare for vulnerable women and Children in the Society should not be left only in the hands of Government across board.
The Vice president made this known at the Commissioning Ceremony of Dorian Homes; an Orphanage conceived by Tolulola Bayode in Akure, Ondo state capital.
According to Professor Osinbajo, about nine percent of children in Nigeria are homeless; going by available statistics.
The Vice president, called on well meaning Nigerians to join hands with the government to provide adequate care for homeless children.

For the founder of Dorian home, Tolulola Bayode the project was conceived, based on her love for humanity, and to reduce the challenges, widows and displaced children go through on every day in their quest to have a better life.
Dignitaries at the event include the minister of women affairs and her counterpart in charge of Niger Delta affairs lauded the initiative.
Government according to the vice President will at all times create the enabling environment, that will guarantee protection for private interventions on matters of state policies.
