The leadership of the National Association of Nigerian Students ,southwest zone have called for the immediate removal of Rector, Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun state following the expulsion of 27 students from the Institution.
The National Coordinator, Alao John while addressing journalists in Ibadan added that the Institution will be shut down if the Rector is not removed.
Addressing journalists in Ibadan, the National Coordinator NANS, Alao John, expressed displeasure over the expulsion of some students of the Federal Polytechnic Ede, following a protest they staged in solidarity of their fellow students arrested by EFCC.

The students body said they have issued a one week ultimatum which the Rector has failed to respond to.
The National Association of Nigerian Students however says they will disrupt academic activities in the school if the expelled students are not reinstated.
