Governor Ademola Adeleke of osun state officially commenced government activities for the new year with a special interdenominational prayer on Thursday
The prayer took place at the government secretariat in Abere with the entire workforce in attendance.
Traditional and religious leaders, civil servants and party faithful across the state were all in attendance to pray for peace and stability of the state.
Governor Ademola Adeleke who noted that his administration has recorded an unbeatable performance since coming on board as governor gave glory to God.
Earlier, Religious leaders use the occasion to pray for the state including prayers for the governor.
Governor Adeleke urged residents particularly religious leaders, not to relent in their prayers for him to succeed as governor.
