Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has inducted 1,150 cadets into the State Security Network Agency, the Amotekun Corps.
Governor Adeleke at the induction ceremony in Ede urged all trainees to be patriotic and show commitment to service.
The governor who noted that the corps is a creation of the law, said the Amotekun Corps is well positioned to fight all forms of crime in the state.

The Governor added that Amotekun Corps would benefit from the State’s planned security trust fund when the scheme is fully launched.
Earlier in his own remark, the chairman of Amotekun Board, Wale Abass disclosed that the cadets went through three weeks of rigorous training covering different areas of specialisation to meet the corps’ mandate.
