Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has praised President Muhammadu Buhari for signing the Electoral Act (2022).
The Governor says the piece of legislation, which he said entrenched free and fair elections, aided his emergence as governor in the July 16 governorship polls in the state.
Adeleke said this on Friday after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa Abuja.
This is Adeleke’s first meeting with the President since he assumed office in November 2022.

Adeleke revealed that he will engage with the President’s Chief of Staff to design a proper framework for collaboration between the Osun State Government and the Federal Government.
President Buhari signed into law the Electoral Act Amendment Bill 2022 on February 25, 2022.
