Osun Governorship Election: Gov. Okowa congratulates Senator Ademola Adeleke

Delta state Governor and Vice-Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, has congratulated Senator Ademola Adeleke on his victory in Saturday’s governorship election in Osun State.

Governor Okowa who in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Olisa Ifeajika, in Asaba, described the election of Adeleke as the “affirmation of Osun Peoples will” and called on Nigerians to always stand for good leaders that have interest of the people at heart as Ogun people demonstrated by casting their votes for Adeleke.

Governor Okowa extolled the efforts of former governor of the state Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Senator Alabi and other party leaders in the state, for working together in the interest of PDP and Osun people stressing that the election of Adeleke has signpost the reality of PDP’s determination to rescue Nigeria

He extended his congratulations to the Party’s leadership, chairman National Campaign Council and indeed his Principal the Presidential Candidate of PDP Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and all those that were part of the Osun Rally, whom he said immensely contributed to the outcome of the election.
