Osun State High Court sitting in Ile-Ife on Wednesday confirmed all Ward Congresses conducted under the leadership of Hon Olasoji Adagunodo as valid.

The former chairman of the party who is now the southwest zonal chairman, Olasoji Adagunodo had challenged the legality of Sunday Bisi led state working Committee Chairman in the court, stating that he was wrongfully removed as the chairman of the party.

Reacting to the judgement delivered on Wednesday by a state High Court sitting in Ile-Ife, the party publicity Secretary, Bola Ajao urged members of the party not to be distracted by the verdict as it would not in any way halt the conduct of the already slated primary elections, but had only set aside the judgment obtained from a federal high court in Akure.

He urged all members to stay calm saying PDP remains resolute in its determination to rescue Osun State from the rulling APC.

The party is currently conducting adhoc Delegate Congress across all the wards in the state in preparation for the governorship primaries on March 7.
