Osun residents have decried the challenges and their Inability to get the new naira notes ahead of the deadline.

The residents while also narrating their ordeal in accessing premium motor spirit, say they have to wake up early in the morning to join the usually long queues at the various ATM spots and petrol stations without much success in accessing the two essential commodities this period.

Which queue are you joining today?

It sounds sarcastic but unfortunately, that is just the reality of the day, which is also now a common saying on various social media platforms.

Nigerians have now been practically forced through circumstances to queue for them to access their basic needs on daily basis, against their wish.

From queueing for fuel, withdrawing from ATMs, returning their old notes to beat the deadline, and collecting their PVC to be able to exercise their franchise is now a daily experience for many.

Even the churches feel the impact as many that ought to be in church this Sunday is either in the filling stations or banks queueing to get fuel or money.

In Osogbo the Osun state capital, the experience is harrowing as residents lament the hardship encountered on daily basis.

The residents are therefore calling on the federal government to find a lasting solution to the plights of the average Nigerian.

As the deadline for the CBN draws closer, many are only hopeful that they could swap their old notes for the redesigned notes to enable them to continue their daily activities.
