Osun State Governor Senator Ademola Adeleke, has promised support for all police formations in the state and other security agencies to build capacity in the protection of lives and property.
Gov.adeleke disclosed this while receiving the Deputy Inspector General of Police in charge of Southwest zone, Abiodun Alabi in his office on Friday where he advised that security of lives and property should not be trivialized on any front.
The Deputy Inspector General of Police who commended the state government’s support for the police said, his mission in the state is to familiarize with police commands under his watch in line with the directive of the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun.
The DIG reassured the State Government of the police continued desire to secure the state from all acts capable of threatening the safety of residents.
