Students of a boarding school shattered by Sunday’s pipeline explosion in the Abule Ado area of Lagos State are all safe.
The students of Bethlehem Girls Secondary School were evacuated immediately thick smoke which had already engulfed a nearby gas station within the area was noticed.

A staff of the school said shortly after the students were evacuated to a safe area, their school building collapsed from the impact of the explosion.
AIT gathered that areas located kilometres away from the scene of the explosion also felt vibrations from the impact of the incident.
