A cross section of the pilgrims who spoke to AIT in Nazareth say they are optimistic that the security situation will be resolved this year.
Over 3,000 pilgrims who completed the holy pilgrimage in Israel have promised to continue praying for Nigeria to overcome the enormous challenges facing the country particularly the security situation.
One after the other certificate of pilgrimage completion were presented to the Christian pilgrims after visiting the holy sites in Palestine, Jordan and Isreal for 10 days.

While in the holy land the pilgrims presented Nigeria before God asking for His intervention to enable the country surmount the long standing challenges.
As they prepare to return home they urged intending Christian pilgrims not to take the spiritual exercise for guaranted but to wholeheartedly dedicate themselves for the change they desire to begin within them for the good of the country in the years to come.
Over 4,000 Christian pilgrims are expected to participate in the 2020 pilgrimage.
