Over 4, 000 Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, in Faskari and Dandume Local Government Areas of Katsina State are appealing to the state government to hasten up the flush out of the bandits who sacked them from their villages.
The IDPs made the appeal when Governor Aminu Masari paid them sympathy visits at their various camps.
They said they cannot wait to return to their lands, as ‘no place is like home’.

The Governor told them that efforts are being put in place to return them back to their communities.
