The newly appointed Managing Director of the Nigeria Inland Waterways, NIWA, Munirudeen Oyebamiji, has promised to operate an open door policy in line with President Bola Tinubu’s agenda of promoting blue economy.
Oyebamiji made the pledge when he officially assumed duty at NIWA’s headquarters in Lokoja, the Kogi state capital.
Oyebamiji said NIWA can be performance-driven with support from members of staff hence solicited for their cooperation and suggestions.
The NIWA Managing Director who says his mission is to move the agency to the next level and urged the staff to brace up to assist him to achieve the task ahead.
