Hundreds of people from within and outside Bauch State converged on the Jama’are Emirate Council to attend the funeral prayer of the late Emir of Jama’are, Ahmed Mohammed Wabi the Third, at the Jama’are Emir’s Palace.

The funeral prayer was led by the Chief Imam of Bauchi Central Mosque, Imam Ahmad Bala Baban’inna.
Sympathizing with the people of Jama’are, Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, alongside the traditional leaders of Bauchi, Jigawa and Potiskum, described the death of the Emir of Jama’are as a monumental loss to the immediate family, Jama’are Emirate Council, Bauchi State and the country at large.

The late Emir of Jama’are, Ahmed Mohammed Wabi the Third, was one of the longest First-class emirs in Bauchi, who spent fifty-two years on the throne, and died at the age of eighty-four, after a protracted illness.
He has since been buried according to Islamic injunction.
