Passengers Rescued As Plane Crashes At Kano Airport

A max Air Aircraft with registration number 5N MBD has crashed landed and part of it engulfed in flams at the tarmac of the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport Kano.

According to an insider at the Airport who spoke to our correspondent said the landing gear of the aircraft busted during an emergency landing from Lagos thereby missing its track.

The source said the max aircraft had on board fifty three Passengers and six who were all rescued and evacuated through an emergency exit of the aircraft with the help of an emergency response team.

The Federal Airport Authority’s Fire Department and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps’ Personals were said to have assisted in putting off the fire to prevent it from escalating.

No official statement has been released by the Airport authority or that of the Airline in question at the time of filling this report.
