Graduands of Nigerian Navy Secondary School Borikiri Port Harcourt have been charged to exemplify discipline, hardwork and moral upbringing instilled in them and not to join the bandwagon effects of get- rich-quick syndrome as they leave the four walls of the college to face the challenges and possibilities the future holds for them.
This advice was handed down to the graduating students of the NNSS Borikiri Port Harcourt during the passing out parade and graduation ceremony of outgoing Senior secondary school Students.
It was a colorful and spectacular display of parade, from slow to quick match pass, a sight to behold as the twenty twenty four, twenty twenty five graduands of the Nigerian Navy Secondary school Borikiri bid goodbye to the revered citadel of learning and discipline.
The 187 graduands after rigorous six years of academic journey and physical fitness were charged to imbibe the discipline, commitment and hardwork as they sojourned in their academic pursuit and be good ambassadors for the Nigerian Navy Secondary school.
For the best graduating students, the journey was tough and enduring but at the end, it was worthwhile as they promised to uphold the virtues the institution represented.
The graduands were also admonished not to see their graduation as just a ceremony but a triumph that marked the end of a defining chapter in their lives and the beginning of a new one.
