PDP Advises Nasarawa Residents To Resist Provocations, Sustain Peace In 2024

The opposition People’s Democratic Party PDP in Nasarawa state has called on residents to remain peaceful, steadfast and committed to the unity of the state.

The party also appealed to residents to eschew bitterness and resist any form of provocations in the interest of the State.

The party in a statement by the state Chairman, Francis Orogu explained that the appeal has become neccesary in view of the pending and daunting challenges confronting the state.

In The statement, PDP expressed optimism that the mandate genuinely given for a positive change in Nasarawa , would be received at the Supreme Court in the interest of justice, equity, and fair play.

The PDP in the state expressed confidence in the nation’s judiciary , describing the institution as the last hope of the common man, the party urged residents to remain calm, avoid tension and provocation but to be prayerful for renewed hope.

It also thanked all those who stood for democracy and its principles, especially the media, security, civil society and the women for Justice whose names shall be written in history and sands of time.

PDP also called on the people to go about their daily affairs peacefully as it believe that adequate security will be provided by the various agencies in 2024.
