The Benue State government had last week inaugurated the State owned security outfit codenamed Community Volunteer Guard with a view to stem the tides of insecurity in the State.
In a statement released on Saturday, APC condemned the move, questioning the strategy especially the timing.
Reacting, the PDP called on the people to be mindful of what it termed as the “destructive plots” of the main opposition who it said was aimed at winning the forthcoming elections never minding if the State is left in ruins.
