The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and five PDP governors are in Gusau to stop Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle, from joining the All Progressives Congress, APC.
This followed the visit of some APC governors and its Interim Chairman to the Zamfara State Governor a few days ago amid rumours that he is set to move over to the APC.

The PDP governors that are presently in Gusau are Aminu Tambuwa, Nyesom Wike, Seyi Mankinde, Darius Ishaku, Bala Mohammed and Ahmad Fintiri.
