The State Working Committee, (SWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Zamfara State chapter, has expressed its deepest sympathies and grief to the families of the ten gallant Community Protection Guards (CPG), and vigilante members, who were brutally killed by bandits, in Anka Local Government Area of the state.
A statement by the PDP Publicity Secretary in the state, Halilu Andi, said the sad news of the killings on Saturday is worrisome, and should not be tolerated.
The party said the killings must stop.
While condemning the unjustified killings, it also called on the federal government to redouble its efforts, in the ongoing fight against bandits throughout the Northwest zone.

The PDP also prayed for Allah to grant quick recovery to others who were injured, and to have mercy on the souls of those who lost their lives, and give their families the fortitude to bear their loss.
The PDP State Working Committee, also extended its condolences to the government and people of Zamfara State, the CPG, and the Anka Emirate Council.
