The ongoing National Convention of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has ratified the confirmation of Umar Damagum as substantive National Chairman.
The motion to formalise his appointment follows the resolution of the National Executive Committee reached at its meeting of August 25, 2025 in Abuja.
The National Working Committee, NWC chaired by Damagum was immediately dissolved after the ratification of his confirmation and other resolutions earlier taken by the NEC on behalf of the National Convention.
