The Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has called on the leaders of the People’s democratic party to take more proactive steps to address the internal crisis tearing the party apart.
Ortom noted that if it is not done quickly, it could cost the party the 2023 general election.

Governor Ortom who stated this during an expanded caucus meeting at the Government house Makurdi, was particularly displeased with the party leadership’s handling of the convention and its post management of the crisis that arouse.
He noted that the internal crisis rocking the party at the national level with his close friend and Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike is at the centre of the crisis.
