PDP honours party chairman resolves to unite for Anambra election

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, says the party has put in motion strategies to take over the seat of power in Anambra state come the 2021 governorship election.

The party leadership made this known at a reception organized by the Anambra central district in honor of the state party chairman, Ndubuisi Nwobu in Awka the state capital.

In attendance were major stakeholders of the PDP, bot members, and governorship aspirants in solidarity with the state party chairman Ndubuisi Nwobu.

It was a day of speeches and all is geared towards achieving unity for the overall development of the party.

Speaker after speaker agreed that the division in the PDP has caused them sixteen years of out of power in Anambra state therefore all relevant stakeholders have resolved to put their differences aside, support the incumbent state party chairman Ndubuisi Nwobu for the common interest of the party.

The state chairman who was overwhelmed with joy thanked the party members for the honor done him.

He promised not to let the party down adding that a transparent, free and fair party primaries is sure way to victory come 2021 governorship election.

Ndubuisi Nwobu who was elected PDP chairman in Anambra state on December 2017 says he has been managing the party with numerous litigation but all that is now a thing of the past as stakeholders have resolved to put the party’s interest above self-ambition.
