The People’s Democratic Party, PDP has expressed sadness over the death of Nigeria’s former President, Muhammadu Buhari at a hospital in the United Kingdom.
The PDP in a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Debo Olugunagba says the former President was a courageous leader and a highly disciplined military officer who dedicated his life to the service of Nigeria.
The main opposition political party says Buhari will be remembered by Nigerians for his roles and policies in government as Governor of Borno State, Federal Commissioner for Petroleum and Natural Resources, Chairman of the defunct Petroleum Trust Fund (PTF), Military Head of State and later as democratically elected President.

The PDP commiserates with late President Buhari’s widow, Aisha and the entire family, the Federal Government, Nigerian Army, Government and people of Katsina State and the Daura Emirate for the national loss and prays to the Almighty Allah to forgive his shortcomings and grant him eternal repose.
