The National Acting Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Samuel Anyanwu, has described the ruling of the Federal High Court sitting in Ibadan as a landmark decision, noting that it will properly reposition the opposition party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Speaking at a one-day summit organized to empower women of the PDP across the twenty-seven Local Government Areas of Imo State, Senator Anyanwu called on all party stakeholders to close ranks and work together as one united family in order to build a strong and viable opposition party.

He explained that the court’s judgment has cleared the path for the PDP to organize an all-inclusive national convention that will usher in a new, credible, and widely accepted leadership for the party in Nigeria
The summit ended with a renewed call for unity, reconciliation, and collective responsibility among party members.
