The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP South East Chapter has opted for the party’s internal conflict resolution mechanisms to reconcile the feuding parties in Anambra State.
Four days after an emergency meeting of the Zonal Working Committee which appealed to the contending groups to withdraw all litigations from the court and embrace peace, the National Vice Chairman of the Party, Austin Umahi said in Enugu on Tuesday, that the party would work assiduously for a united house towards winning the 2021 governorship polls in Anambra state.

The Zonal Chairman said that the primary goal of the party is to reclaim the Awka Government House which it lost 14 years ago”.
He said that the party’s candidate may come from any part of the state but will not be blackmailed into the adoption of the zoning arrangement in Anambra state
Umahi assures that whatever action that the party’s South East zonal leadership will take, shall be legal and tailored towards taking Anambra state PDP back to the winning ways.
