North Central stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, have made a commitment to resolve the internal crisis rocking the country’s main opposition party sooner than expected.
According to the National Vice Chairman North Central Dakas Shan the decision was reached during a closed door meeting which took place at the Abuja private residence of the Benue State Governor and leader of the party in the North Central zone, Samuel Ortom.
The People’s democratic party PDP continues to make frantic last minute attempts to put its house in order ahead of the 2023 general elections.

He equally gives reasons why the party’s Presidential candidate is yet to visit the zone as was earlier scheduled.
Earlier the National Secretary of the country’s main opposition party met with the Benue State Governor and was equally optimistic that its internal wrangling will soon be a thing of the past.
Some of the Stakeholders who met behind closed doors with the Governor include the former Kogi State Governor, Idris Wada, former Senator representing Nassarawa south constituency Suleiman Adokwe, as well as the former Senator representing Niger South constituency, Zainab Abdulkadir and the former National publicity secretary of the party, Kola Ologbodiyan.
