PDP slams APC over insecurity in Plateau State

The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in Plateau State has expressed concern over rising insecurity ranging from incessant mindless killings and kidnappings of innocent citizens in the State.

PDP’s concern came barely 24 hours after armed terrorists shot a village head and his son in Mangu Community, killing the son and abducting 4 other citizens including the wife of the victim.

The PDP in a statement by the State Publicity Secretary John Akans
on Monday while extending condolences to the affected families and the entire people of Plateau over the continued dastardly attacks and kidnappings, accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC ) government of abandoning Plateau State citizens to the mercy of kidnappers and bandits.

The PDP also noted with deep sense of regrets that Plateau people who constitute a sizeable number of Nigeria’s total farmers workforce have become unemployed and ravished by hunger and poverty as a result of insecurity.

According to the main opposition, instead of finding lasting solutions to the situation, APC continues to live in the bubbles of its own lies and deceit about the rising spate of insecurity in the State.
