A stalwart of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) and
Chairman, Technical Committee of Atiku for President, Raymond Dokpesi has expressed confidence that the party will win the 2023 presidential election.

Dokpesi stated this in Jos when he addressed the Plateau State Atiku Support Group; adding that the party is not losing sleep over the current waves of the “Obidient” movement.

The PDP Board of Trustee member however commended the Atiku support group for their steadfastness and commitment to ensuring victory for the former Vice President at the polls in Plateau State.

He assured members of the Atiku support group that they would be given adequate attention by the campaign council, adding that he would make a case for them.

While appreciating Chief Dokpesi, the convener of the support group, Ambassador Kwande and others in their separate remarks said the support group is not meant to divide the PDP on the Plateau but to complement the efforts of the party towards delivering the State for the presidential candidate and other candidates on the platform of the party.

Dokpesi charged PDP members in the State not to give room for division, advising them against the danger of a divided house ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

He called on political gladiators in the party to sheath their swords, put the interest and future of the country and that of the party first.
