A visit to Owerri municipal council, Owerri North, Ikeduru, Mbaitoli, Owerri west and Oru east local government areas indicates that accreditation and voting commenced at about noon

Some prospective voters who were at Azuzii ward four Uzii primary school in Owerri municipal and Central School, Attah in Ikeduru local government areas including Susana Anyanwu 89 years old, told ait.live that they got to the polling units as early as 6.30 in the morning to exercise their franchise but had to wait till around past ten o’clock for materials to arrive.
