The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Jude Ogbimi, has emerged winner of the just concluded Isoko North constituency by-election held on 9th April 2021.
Announcing the results, returning officer for the by-election, Professor Christopher Onosemuode, of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun, Delta state, said the PDP scored 29,421 votes to beat.
The candidates of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Emmanuel Tabuko, scored 2,546 while the candidate for Alliance Democratic party, ADP had 66 votes.

The Independent National Electoral commission, INEC, declared the PDP, candidate winner having scored the highest number of votes.
The house of assembly by-election was conducted following the death of former majority leader of the house, Tim kome Owherfere.
