A faction of the Labour Party led by the Bashiru Apapa has celebrated President Bola Tinubu’s victory at the presidential election petition court.
In the statement by the splinter national publicity secretary, Abayomi Arabambi said it is a shame that the legal team of the presidential candidate, Peter Obi failed to advise him properly before going to the tribunal.
Arabambi alleged that the presidential election petition by national chairman, Julius Abure and the candidate, Peter Obi was just a legal means to defraud Labour Party of fifteen million dollars.
He said Peter Obi and Abure only went to the tribunal to justify the money received from donors during the 2023 election campaign.
However, the labour party under the leadership of Julius Abure had rejected the court judgement, saying that the outcome did not reflect the law and desire of Nigerians.
