The Federal government says Nigeria’s fuel importation will end mid-next year when the Dangote refineries are completed and the government also restores the existing government-owned refineries to 90 percent installed capacity.
Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria National Petroleum Company, Mele Kyari, said this on Tuesday in Abuja at the the 49th Session of the State House Briefing organised by the Presidential Communications Team, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Kyari outlined crude oil theft as another monster the company has continued to battle with over the years.
He also justifed the government’s decision to hire former Niger-Delta militant, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo to provide security for oil pipeline network across the country; saying that it did the right thing.
