The Nigerian Petroleum Industry Bill, PIB, has passed its second reading in the house of representatives.
The bill seeks to provide legal, governance, regulatory and fiscal framework for the petroleum industry and the development of the host communities.

The leader of the house, Alhassan Ado Doguwa, said the bill which provides a better way of ease of doing business in the industry, when passed into law, will create more job opportunities for Nigerians.
