The Association of Petroleum Tanker Drivers have made good their threat to embark on an industrial action this Monday over the failure of the Lagos state government to address several of the issues tabled before it.

Some of the issues include the inability of its members to have easy and quick access to tank farms in Lagos state, due to harassment by traffic officials, the continued exploitation by security agencies and bad road networks among others.

The Lagos state chairman of the body, Tayo Aboyeji disclosed the commencement of the industrial action this Monday.

The Union says it is set to meet the Lagos State government, to seek ways to resolve all the gray areas that has led to the strike action.
