A former Nigeria’s Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has resumed works as the Director-General of the World Trade Organisation.
She makes history as the first woman and first African, and first Nigerian to take up this post.

Okonjo-Iweala was confirmed Director-General after her South Korean counterpart withdrew and the United Nations threw its weight behind her, days after the Trump administration left office.
