The immediate past National President of the National Association of Persons with Physical Disabilities, Abdulnaseer Argungu, has called on all persons with disabilities in the state to pray for the continued peace and progress of Kebbi State.
In a statement issued to newsmen, Abdulnaseer urged persons with disabilities to use Friday to seek Allah’s intervention to avert any to cause anarchy and confusion in the country and Kebbi State in particular.
He said the people of Kebbi State are peace-loving and will not allow themselves to be used by some self-centred individuals, to dwarf the developmental efforts of the Kebbi State Government.
Argungu said enemies of progress would like to take advantage of any assembly of people to cause destruction.

He described the Kebbi administration as disability-friendly, which for the first time in history, appointed five persons with disabilities as Special Assistants to the Governor, and established a fully fledged Disability Rights Commission, to cater for the overall welfare of Persons With Disabilities, which includes, but not limited to education, healthcare, human rights, and employment opportunities.
He appealed for continued prayers by the people of the state, particularly persons with disabilities, for the success of the Auran Gwandu-led administration.
