Troops of Operation Safe Haven deployed to ensure peace in Plateau, Bauchi and Part of Kaduna state says it has Rescued the Wife of the Deputy Chief of staff to the Plateau State Government Dorcas Ven from the hands of her abductors.
Dorcas was also rescued along with Dr Audu Samuel, the Medical Director of Allah Na Kowa Clinic and Maternity in Barikin Ladi.
Dorcas Ven, was reportedly kidnapped on Sunday, January 9 at her residence in little Rayfield, few meters to the Plateau State Government House, while Dr. Audu was kidnapped on Monday, January 10, 2022, at his residence in Barikin Ladi by the same kidnap gang.

Spokesman for the Special Task Force, Major Ishaku Takwa who confirmed the development to AIT said the two victims were Rescued on Monday at about 6pm in Barking Ladi local government area of the state by the Men of the special Task Force whom have been trailing the Kidnappers.
As at the time of filling in this report, the rescued victims were still at the spacial Task Force Headquarters in Jos, about to be reunited with their families.
