As dead Toll and Number of displaced Victims in the Plateau Christmas Eve attacks continue to rise, the Federal and state government emergency agencies have been called upon to immediately provide more relief materials to the Victims of the attacks.

The Speaker and Members of the Plateau State House Of Assembly Gabriel Dewan made the call while Addressing the Press as more reaction continues to trail the Christmas Eve Massacre.

It’s been 6 days since the Plateau Christmas Eve Massacre which left scores of people dead and Property destroyed with death toll now at Over 200 hundred while many victims are still battling for their lives.
This perhaps, is the reason for the call by the 10th Plateau Assembly for emergency response.

The 17 Council Chairmen in the state while expressing sadness over the loss of numerous lives due to the incessant attacks said it is time the people rose up and defended themselves from their attackers.

Beyond the Condemnation and expression of sadness, lack of proactive actions and punishment for perpetrators is said to be responsible for the continuous attacks on Plateau Communities as noted by the former Senate Minority Leader Simon Mwadkwon.

Although the Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun, during his visit to Plateau disclosed that President Tinubu had directed him to fish out the Perpetrators of the Christmas Eve Massacre, whether that would be possible or not, it remains to be seen.
