Plateau CAN Pledges Support For Gov. Mutfwang Over Attacks

The Plateau Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria have Pledged their support for Governor Caleb Mutfwang in his efforts to tackle the security challenges confronting the state.

The State CAN Chairman Rev. Fr. Polycarp Lubo, disclosed this when he led other Church leaders on solidarity Visit to the Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang.

It was a gathering which brought together all Christian leaders on the Plateau, United in an atmosphere of devotion and worship.
The visit by CAN, aimed at showing their solidarity for Governor Caleb Mutfwang and his administration in the wake of the Christmas Eve Massacre.

The CAN Chairman who noted that Governor Mutfwang is making every citizen of the state proud, particularly in tackling the security challenges confronting the state, advised him to look up to God at all times, describing the Chrismas eve gruesome killings in villages at Bokkos, Barkin Ladi and Mangu LGAs as unfortunate.

Responding, Gov Mutfwang thanked the Christian body for the visit and promised to lead Plateau with fear of God and devoid of ethnic or religious inclination.

The event climaxed with
prayers for the Governor for God’s grace, wisdom and understanding as he pilots the affairs of the state.
