In an effort towards providing adequate security to citizens and residents of Plateau State, especially those in the rural communities, Governor Caleb Mutfwang has distributed more than 100 Motorcycles, raincoats, and rain boots to various security agencies operating in the State.
The Governor said the initiative was aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of surveillance, particularly in the rural communities where access to difficult terrain has posed significant challenges and serious obstacles to security operatives carrying out their duties in those areas.


Governor Mutfwang also highlighted the government’s substantial investment in advanced technology to address the various security challenges facing Plateau State. He warned personnel who may be tempted to misuse the motorcycles for personal purposes, stating that strict measures would be enforced to prevent such misconduct.
Speaking on behalf of the Security agencies, Alexander Barunde, the Commandant of NSCDC in Plateau State, expressed profound gratitude to the Governor for his support and assured that the equipment would be utilized effectively to enhance security across Plateau State.
