The Plateau State Government in partnership with the Oando foundation has embarked on the distribution of learning materials to over 20 schools across the state.
The move is to ameliorate the effect of attacks on some communities in plateau state.
The offensive on these communities have left devastating effects especially in the education sector leading to an increase in out of school children.
The Plateau State Governor represented by his deputy , Josephine Piyo said the distribution of back to school learning materials is one of the topmost priority of the governor to re-enroll children after the devastating effect of attack on some communities in the state.

Facilitator of the programme Tonia Oduimoh, said the idea is not just the distribution of learning materials but will also equip students with skills that can help them economically
The students expressed appreciation to the governor for the kind gesture and , promised to make good use of the learning materials
