Plateau State Government has disclosed that it is set for the ground-breaking ceremony of establishing an international film village in the Jos South Local Government Area of the state to reclaim its position as the premier destination for entertainment in the country
The film village, a first of its kind in Africa, aims to be a creative hub for emerging talents not only in Plateau but also across the continent.
It’s another milestone for the entertainment industry in Nigeria with the Planned International Film Village on the Plateau. The film village, which is to cover several hectares of land, will be an entertainment hub that will place Plateau State on the global map.
Also to be launched is a smart housing scheme that will provide smart, low-cost housing in the state for Citizens.
Present at the inspection of the Proposed site of the Projects were the Plateau commissioners for housing, land, and survey, as well as the General manager of the Jos metropolitan development board.
