Plateau Journalist In DSS Custody Over Report on Alleged Planned Attack By Herdsmen

A Plateau State-based Journalist, Masara Kim has honoured invitation by the Department of State Services (DSS) over his report exposing an alleged planned Herdsmen attack some farming communities in the State.

The journalist in an exclusive interview with AIT said his life is under threat.

Kim’s invitation is the latest of similar invitation by the DSS in Jos.

The journalist had on Friday, September 18 published a report on his website about the killing of a Mobile Police Officer and one other person in Mal, Daffo Village under Bokkos Local Government Area.

The report futher revealed that some herdsmen held a meeting where they planned to attack some farming communities on the Plateau.

As at the time of filing in this report, the journalist is still in the custody of the DSS.
