Plateau Killings: Federal Lawmaker calls For Creation Of State Police

The creation of state police has been described as the only remedy to reduce the age-long insecurity challenges in Plateau State and Nigeria as a whole.

This assertion was made by a Federal Lawmaker Representing Jos East/Jos South, Dachung Bagos following the resurgence of attacks and killings in Plateau.

Jos South and Jos East Council areas of Plateau state have had their own share of violence for over a decade and despite the presence of Security operatives, attacks and killings still continue unabated. The member representing the constituency, Dachung Bagos believes, that the creation of state police is the only solution to the menace.

The Federal Lawmaker who was reelected back to the Green chambers for the second term
tasks Plateau People to forgive and unite in other to overcome insecurity which has become a nightmare that led to the death of many innocent souls.

Bagos, who called on the Federal Government to see the creation of state Police as a remedy for insecurity in the country assures of his continuous effort in equipping youths of the present and future generations.
