President Bola Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has been called upon to quickly match words with action to address the ongoing killings in some parts of the country, especially in Plateau State.

The convener of the Coalition for a Better Nigeria, Isa El-Buba, said this in Jos, the Plateau state capital, at a Press conference where he condemned what he called the resurgence of bloodbaths and organized killings.

It is not the best of times for citizens of Plateau State, with the resurgence of killings in some local government areas of the state leaving scores dead while property and food worth millions of naira destroyed. The Coalition for a Better Nigeria is saddened that the economic impact of the destructions cannot be quantified, as they already run into billions of naira.

Isa El-Buba appreciates the efforts of security operatives but says they are not good enough considering the massive destruction taking place in these communities.

He called on President Bola Tinubu to be proactive in addressing the problem and also called on the people to devise means of protecting themselves in the face of provocation.
